Social Tedium.

There are so many different types of photographer, all have different styles and share their work in different ways and places.

I class myself as a ‘Social Media Photographer’, which basically means that I share my photos solely on social media websites; Facebook, Twitter, Instagram etc.
Recently, I was introduced to a site called ‘EyeEm’ which, much like Snapwire (which I talked about at length in a previous blog post) is aiming to make it easier for amateurs and inexperienced photographers to get their work out there into the public eye, and hopefully lead to sales and marketing opportunities for everyone.

I’ve only had a profile for a couple of weeks, so I’m not 100% sure how it works, but I’m sure I’ll learn more with time.

Budget camera!

Just bought a Canon 350D, with a 35-80mm lens. Also included was a tripod, a remote shutter, a shutter cable, 2 lens caps and a body cap, a usb cable and all the documentation. Unfortunately, the paperwork and such is in Spanish, but the rest of the camera works fine.

Not bad for £50 lol.

Today’s task.

So, what are we doing today? Well, today we’re stripping, prepping and painting a Honda Civic right-hand side door.

Why?

Because the internal locking mechanism fell to bits on the original door, so a replacement was procured. The replacement was, however, grey.

My job today is to prep and colour match it to the rest of the car, which is proving to be quite fun so far!

Youtube Videos

As a few people know, I make YouTube videos, mainly centred around Motorcycles and ‘MotoVlogging’.

I’ve been doing this for a couple of years now, and I’d like to share some of the videos on this blog!

So, without further ado, here are some links (newest video first);
